Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Those tend to be few and far between :D

    Saw him do Gibineau in 2005 at Barcelona, pure class and an easy track to get to..

    GTFO :D

    The good doctor will show us all once again why he gets the big bucks. Lorenzo will be fvcked without Rossi's adjustments to the bike.

    Mugello (Italy, near Florence) is generally regarded as a good one to go to. I've been three times and Misano(San Marino) once. Mugello is miles better than Misano. I have heard the ones in Spain are good too.

    Wow, you're way off the mark on both points :eek:

    First - as proven yesterday Rossi is a winner, time and again ;) lol.

    Second, the British gp tends to be the poor relation of the motogps on the continent both in weather and overall atmosphere. (they also charge a lot more).

    I haven't been to Brno but definately have it on the list of races to go to.

    I've been to a few races;

    Philips Island is a gorgeous track in a fantastic setting. Plenty of trackside spots to view the race from.

    Saachenring in Germany is a super track. From watching it on TV, you have no idea of how steep the uphill and downhill sections are. Plenty of TV screens so you never miss any action. The huge campsites are great craic.

    Valencia is also superb. If you get a seat around turn 2, you can see over 90% of the track. No other European track offers this.

    In summary go to any race. They're all great.

    I went to Mugello in 2009 and the atmosphere was amazing. Those Italians are fanatical about motorsport! Obviously, there's a major Rossi element there too it being close to his home base. If you do go either camp at the circuit (be warned, it's for party animals only) or stay on the outskirts of Florence and make a week of it. If the sound of full-bore MotoGP bikes bouncing around the Tuscan hills doesn't move you on some elemental level, check that you have a pulse.

    I was at Valencia in 2005 and Jerez and Valencia again in 2006.

    The Jerez one was definitely the best atmos. The Spanish love their bikes. Dani Pedrosa was the local hero back then in the 250 class.

    Jerez gets my thumbs up anyway. Most enjoyable.
