have to agree with dave on that one i think its way too early to be thinkin bout challenge matches. Maybe after another couple of matches we might be ready. So who is goin to be the manager and make the big decisions when there needed?

I dunno about the Ill feeling towards challenge match myself, like even if we go out and loose 5-0 (which more then likely will happen) we will learn more and get more experience out of that then we would out of five 7 a side games.

A starting outfield 10 wouldn't be THAT hard, off the top of my head I would even suggest something like:

Backs: Ken, Johnny, black-shirt guy, that youngish lad from the full pitch game last week on red team

Midfield: mark, matt(not me, I think his name is matt), fergal, kev

Front: Dave, Tomas

That isn't even anywhere near our strongest team but I think it would still do ok.

I think next week def seeing as the bank holiday is following week we should all have a chat and decide a few things.

And as for the challenge match I'd be all up for it. I know some of the lads on Team America and they'd be good but not great. I doubt we'd get hammered. And it would give us a chance to have a look at our players on a full size pitch. We could sub people on and off, change positions etc. and see what works and what doesn't work.

Yeah I don't think there's any harm in playing a challenge match as long as there was a rolling subs option.

I think the idea of everyone dividing up into positions next week is good. Like Jonny said, he's able to play in defence but I'd much rather have him in the middle of the park or on the wing as he would prefer an outlet for the defence there - little things like that that would need to be sorted.

Tbh, it wasn't yesterdays football that did the damage. It was a fast ball delivery in cricket I caught square on the foot. The bruising only showed up properly yesterday
