Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi folks, this story has come up on www.mmaireland .org and I would like to clarify that it is NOT true. Neither Myles or myself (his manager) have been contacted to check if this story is correct. No contract has been signed with Warrior promotions, and nothing has been mentioned about Bellator. We have no idea where these "facts" have come from and they should be ignored.

However we are hoping that Myles will travel to the USA for a training camp in the near future, and we have been talking to various UK promotions re possible match ups

    John Ferguson

    The Story

"Kilkenny Top Pro’s Myles Price has just signed a 4-fight deal with Warrior Promotions (UFC’s Dan Hardy’s promoter) in England that if he wins will enable him to progress to American and fight on the huge MMA promotion Bellator. Rated as the 4th most popular MMA event in the world the organisation also acts as a filter organisation for the UFC.
Myles will also be travelling to the states this summer to train with the HIT squad gym in Illinois run by former 9 time UFC champion Matt Hughes and UFC veteran Robbie Lawler in preparation for his upcoming fights.Myles’s next fight will be on the Cage Contenders event in Dublin and then in Kilkenny at the end of the summer"

    Hey guys,

John is right we didnt clarify it with him or Myles. We got our information from what we thought was a credible source being The Top Pro Gym Kilkenny Website. You can see the news article below:

"MYLES HOPES TO FIGHT HIS WAY TO AMERICA

    Posted 23rd MARCH

Top Pro’s professional MMA/Cage fighter Myles Price has just signed a 4 fight deal with warrior promotions (who are UFC’s Dan hardy’s promoter) in England which if he wins will enable him to progress to American and fight on MMA promotion Bellator which is rated the 4th most popular and well run cage show on the planet which is also a filter organisation for the UFC,
It is also being organised for Myles to travel to the states to train this summer at the hit squad gym in Illinois run by former 9 time UFC champion Matt Hughes and UFC veteran Robbie Lawler in preparation for these fights,
Myles’s next fight will be in June on Setanta sports on the cage contenders event in Dublin and then in Kilkenny at the end of the summer"

To avoid further confusion we have removed the article from the site and can assure you that it was an honest mistake and it will not happen in the future.

    Apologies from all at MMAIRELAND.org

Well it does have more relevance than people talking about Jordan and Alex Reid, neither of who are Irish or have anything to do with MMA.

Its all down to courtesy again or the lack of it. Anyone who reads these boards will know fighie's connection with Miles Price and to write an article about him without asking him or his management if the story is true is just lazy.

Although the prompt response from MMAIRELAND.ORG after the issue was raised is to be commended.

This is an open forum? providing you stick to the charter that is?

It was a simple mistake (due to an article on another site). I was just stopping the rumour mill before it got going...
