Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I havent used a compact a lot in the past couple of years as I moved on to a Canon 350. I am looking around to buy one for a present. They all are without viewfinders, where did they go?

Maybe I am being stupid here but do you not need a viewfinder to take a good picture? If you have to look at the screen at the back surely you are going to have wobbly pictures, why do so few have view finders any more, even the lovely little canon powershots that I was going to buy have none, maybe I am missing something here? She likes taking pictures so I want to get her something decent but not as big as a DSLR.
