Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Backup/Restoring Image Via USB only on Netbook. Possible? Software Recommendations?

    Hi Folks,

    I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on my HP netbook.

    To reinstall Windows I need to borrow a friends external DVD drive.

    What I'm wondering is if there is a program that will allow me to create an image of my drive (I know there are plenty) and then reinstall it using a USB drive, containing the imaging program and the image.

    I have an old version of Acronis True Image, but you need to boot from a restore CD before reinstalling the image.

    Is there any software I should be looking at to do this all via USB drive?

    Or should I just buy my own external DVD drive:)
