anyone ever fish the Liffey at Chapelizod. is it safe.. well whats the water like? clean, sh!!ty.....?? and whats the fish like?

It's no fishing from the weir down to the club.

The club has it from the island to below the bridge.

The Memorial Park stretch is free access and fishing.

The Liffey is closed for all Salmon and Trout fishing for 2010, according to the ERFB website.

salmon and seatrout,,open for browns,,check locally for permits and club rules .ie bag limits and size

Fishing only with single barbless hooks. There is a ban on the use of worms, ie. NO WORM FISHING.
