I'm doing a presentation on the future of the way we edit. [not the future of the technology we use, annoying i know] and i was wondering what are huge differences between editing 3D and editing 2D?

what can and can't be done with the 3D format, for example jump cuts being distorting in 3D.

    any help would be great.
    thanks.

i assume there's no major difference in the editing process for a 3d film. I mean the film is not 3d while you are editing it. The focus on 3d'fying the work would be in the filming (camera position depth and detail of the shot etc) and after the editing where the film is processed into 3D.)
