Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which Nikon strobes have you got ? Some of them (like my SB-26) have built in slave triggers. You can set them to go off when they sense another flash. I don't know if they can be set to ignore metering pre-flash on digital cameras though, I guess the newer ones should do. A quick read of the manual ought to set you right though.

Alternatively if you want to go the wired route then you need either PC cables which are probably the cheapest option assuming that both your camera and flash have pc sockets, or a hotshoe extension cable that fits into your hotshoe and onto the base of the flash.
