    Hey mummies (and dads) :)

As many of you know I moved to Dublin not too long ago, however my sons GP is in West Clare, and I just recieved 2 notices that he has missed his MMR and his 6in1 booster. I want to get him these ASAP but I could not really face dragging across the country to do so.

Can I get them done anywhere? Or does it have to be our GP?

Thank you for all replies :)

    Hiya,
You'd probably be best to change GP then to one in Dublin, and they can request his notes. under the circumstances they shouldn't have a problem as its paid for by the health service. i think the GP you're under for the pregnancy is the one who gives the vaccinations, but i can be corrected on this....:D

Addison has missed some of her vaccines also, in the middle of changing docs. There's a great doc on O'Connell St that you can just walk into but maybe give him a ring and ask him about vaccines for the baby before you go?

I can PM you his details?

All the doctor will need is the immunisation record from your previous GP.

Telephone GP and ask for fax of imms record. Any GP will /should complete the imms to date.
