    I liked the drummer boy but cannot understand why he brought his parents with him this year. Surely he realised she cannot sing before they went on Britains Got Talent.

    He might have realised it - but his parents sure didn't.
    Maybe they just wanted to take advantage of his last appearance and small notoriety?
    Maybe they are just deaf to the sounds coming from them.

    Some great acts on this last night. Chloe was a brilliant singer. Thought the little drummer boy was better last year; could just have been a reaction from hearing his mother sing as well though.

    Thought Tobias Meed was by far the best though. Class. Cant believe his brothers dont talk to the family just because he dances.

    Spot on! I definitely think they were taking advantage. They knew he was good enough and well liked last year and was so close to going further that common sense would be to put him in this year on his own. They obviously think they're talented and using their son was an easy way to get noticed. I reckon they thought people would love them and were hoping to get noticed enough to be able to make lots of money after the show doing gigs & tv appearances ( A la Stavros Flatley ). I get the feeling mother thinks she's an undiscovered talent and father thinks he's the next Slash...when they realised it went horribly wrong she blamed it on not being able to hear anything!! I also couldn't believe her hesitation before allowing the kid to go solo...although that could have been the editing!

    There's something about this story I find dodgy...I mean he does performing arts...ok... has a hot girlfriend so obviously not gay...ok.. the brothers don't get it...fine but apparently they have no contact at all with any of the family...one didn't even tell them he was getting married & the other allegedly told his mother she wasn't 'having any f***ing contact' with his kids.:eek:
    I don't believe someone wanting to dance instead of play football would cause all this..the brothers' anger seems to be directed at the parents or the entire family. Now all this about the brothers could be newspaper trash but if it's not then I think something else might have happened to cause this rift. I predict a lot of story selling from these people!!
