Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

File Restore

    Hi all,
I recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. Before I installed 7, I did a complete back up. Now I want to restore certain files from my back up, which is six dvds in total. My problem is that the back up and restore centre only recognises the files from disc 1, regardless of what dvd is in the computer. So can anyone help shed some light on my problem. I've tried googling but couldnt get an answer. Thanks

Go to your C drive and see if you have a folder called 'windows.old' if you do, your files may be in there

When disk one is in, are you sure its not showing you the entire contents of your backups. if you where to select a file to restore which was located on disk 4, and asked it to restore, it might ask you to insert disk 4.

Thanks for the help everyone located most of the files. One last problem, I seem to have lost the programme/driver for my internal microphone. Any ideas??
