Sexton hits post with drop to go ahead on half time. Looks an interesting game and anyone's to win.

Wish there had of been a few more minutes in that half, Racing were getting a bit of momentum

Bad miss by Sexton there, no real pressure on the kick.

    Exciting second half

    13-6 with 25 to go

Lovely drop goal by Wilkinson. That should be Toulon in the final. 16-6 to Toulon with 8 mins left.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Throwing to the tail on opposition line? Utter madness.

Well looks like that's it for Racing

Will be good from an Irish POV for Sexton to get a rest before the summer tour (if he's going)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Well that ends it for Racing. 5 mins left and Toulon have the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Toulon win 16-6. Well deserved win. The double is still on.

O'Gara and Labit being investigated for their "touchline actions"

Didn't see the game, so dunno what they got up to.

Yeah that was for the Toulouse match, abusing the fourth official.

    I watched that game, I didn't see it! :/

How has this looked so far?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    Fecking stupid by Gorgodze.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

It's so cringey when commentators talk up kickers as if they never miss a thing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Try for Castres. Going to be extremely hard to come back now.

What a try! They hit right back.

Lovely from Montpellier. Olivier is such a balanced runner, reminds me of D'Arcy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Oh WOW - great try for Montpellier.

Great tackle! Evans will be disappointed there...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

High tackle surely? That was awful by Monty, really got away with one there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Entertaining game this - on a knife edge. Montpellier unlucky not to get a try on half time there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

Castres show their experience at this level. They manage their game much better than we do. The last action before HT is crazy at this level . Our line-out is terrible. Fortunately our scrum is not too bad. And our backs showed moments of brilliance. Gorgodze is having a stinker. Far. Far from his best season before leaving...

Being only down 3 pts at half time is somehow a miracle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    19-19 with two minutes left

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    Extra time! Come on Monty.

Tales misses a straight forward DG outside the 22 to win it. Extra-time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 841 ✭✭✭Journeyman_1

How long is extra time? Must be pretty tough on the players... give everything for 80, and then be asked to go out and continue playing for at least 15-20 mins?

    Twice 10 mins.

Frustrating game for us. Castres seem to be doing nothing but still manage to get an opportunity to win it at the last min. Fortunately they missed it.

Nearly one of the tries of the season from Lamerat after some brilliant hands in the buildup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

DG from Bai puts Castres 22-19 at the break. It came from a brilliant catch by Dulin of his own garryowen.

    The corner!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Wow big call there by Montpellier. It cost Munster...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    And now a scrum 5.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    They blow it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

There was a hand in that scrum. Should've been a penalty to Mont.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 841 ✭✭✭Journeyman_1

The intensity after nearly 100 mins of rugby is amazing. I just turned it on, has it been like this all game?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    Full time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Game over. Can't believe Montpellier went for the corner.

Same final as last year so!
