iPhone unlocking

    Hi,

    My dad is very technologically indifferent and uses a bill phone. I was contemplating getting him to upgrade to a new iPhone (for free, cos it's bill pay), and then when he gets it, give him my current phone and use the iPhone on my pre-pay account.

    What do I need to do to make that work? Or is it even possible?

    Cheeky ;)

    Make sure you're both on the same network though because it will be locked. Remember that he will be locked in to an 18 month contract and may have to change tariff.
