I am currently refubishing my kitchen and due to the new position of hob I need to move a socket by about 9" to the left .Is it acceptable to chase from the existing position to the new position and extend the cable across or would I need to chase up the wall again.I dont really want to do this.
Also I am replacing the cooker (Double oven with ceramic top) for a seperate double oven (Neff) and Induction hob.Can I wire those directly into the existing Cooker supply or do I need a seperate supply for each?

one isolator can switch both if it's within 2m of each -subject to 'loading'

you should check appliance ratings if possible
