    think it was a gun post during ww2,overlooking the tramore to waterford railway line(now abandoned)

    used to climb over a fence and climb up to it when we were kids,dunno about now.

    havnt been up there in years but in me teens it used to be a weeklty ting to go up there with the lads for a change of sceane,,ya can climb the front if u want or take the easy route and walk around,, we even had bets who could get there fastest the climber or the runner and one certin climber always won no matter wot,,must check it out again one of the days ,,:)
