    Hi all,

I'm trying to organise a trip for myself and between 9-13 friends.
We're looking for somewhere outside of Dublin to camp.
Maybe somewhere in the West of Ireland? Or wherever is good for this time!

A few things that are definitely a requirement are:
-3 parking spaces (either with extra payment or on site)
-Fire pit (with access to fire wood, fire starters, etc.)
    -Alcohol (obviously with plastic bottles/cans!)

Can anyone recommend somewhere based on experience that would suit our group? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks!!!

    x

Linger we went to Ballykeeran westmeath last year to a spot where u could light fires, drink from a glass if u wish and no probs with parking.

cant rem price but i dont think we paid ant more than 20 per tent per nite.

on a lake so u can get the tackle out (not that tackle) the dog and duck pub just 5 min walk or less from site and it had a good friendly atmosphere in it.

an hour 20 from dub if i recall. well worth the craic

another spot would be in lough ramour in cavan i think its about an hour 30 or so away from dub.

lite a fire, camp by the lake side itself if ur there in time. not overly busy. pleasent people who run the show. drink from real glass too. only thing its not close to any towns or that but there is a convience store about half mile r so from site.

    and dont forget ur tackle!!

again about 20 a nite per tent.

i just saw its not open till july there but if ya give him a ring he mite help ya out. his house is on site.

This is a zombie thread that slipped through the system. As per the forum charter the request for a camping place where you can drink means the thread is now locked.
