Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish Rail ticket machine problems

Quick question: Does anyone know if the older ticket barriers (that only check your ticket on the way into the station, not out) have a problem reading some ticket types? I've bought a weekly student "Inner zone" ticket from the machines twice now and both times these machines have given me an "invalid date" message. No problem at Pearse or Connolly with the newer barriers, and no problem with tickets bought at the desk.

Maybe I've just been unlucky, just curious though.

Trying to get them exchanged for a working ticket is interesting too: I got met with "No" on my first attempt; on the second try the guy squinted at the ticket as if it came from another planet, asked "What is that?" and then would only open the gate rather than issue a new one; third time lucky :p
