Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Awesome video,They still got it. Man I wish I was at that show. What a combination music. What an endorsement from the Metal Masters to a young support act on the rise, making their own mark on modern day metal. When guys like Hetfield, Halford and Mustaine are backing you, You must be doing something right.

Probably not, but if Babymetal had a choice of being on Hetfield's playlist or being invited to open for Metallica on their world tour. You know which one they'd choose.

Agreed on the musicians in Babymetal, They are top quality.

    grammar for a start :D

Or that four lads in their 50s who look about as enthused as they do when they're filling their car up at the petrol station is a band that still have it. Lars is still giving it socks in fairness but it doesnt really help

Or that babymetal is something that anyone past puberty needs to care about

The I realised you're probably just really enthusiastic

Before you talk about grammar, learn to spell.
I'd still go to see them live, for a band of 50 somethings, I think they can still put on a good gig. Sabbath are a good 10-15 years older and they're still touring.. I'm not expecting stage diving and power slides.

Pity the young support act are part of a talent agency Japanese Louis Walshes if you will, hardly call it their own mark when they don't play music instruments themselves and the songs have been written for them.

How Babymetal came to be is clearly a non-factor for their fans and fellow artists/performers in metal who have voiced support.

Regardless of their origin, It's undeniable that they have had a impact on metal in recent years. whether you see their mark as positive or negative, they are relevant and they are having success.

In regards to instrumentals, There are some seriously talented metal musicians in Babymetal,

    So anyway.....

    Isn't Lars a sh1t drummer :o

I don't know why so many people are complaining about Metallica having shitty support acts, they are a commercial band after all. Not forgetting they had crap bands like Linkin Park, The Darkness and Avenged Sevenfold supporting them here in the past.
    So anyway.....

    Isn't Lars a sh1t drummer :o
He's no Gene Hoglan or Dave Lombardo.

Probably because of restrictions, read somewhere they had to submit the set before hand when they played Shanghai a few years ago.

Any chance we could censor ES for any future gigs here?

I would have never thought of China as a hub for heavy metal, Japan definitely, they have some insane bands. But I can't think of any bands I've heard of in China.

They also did the same to Iron Maiden, Bruce actually commented on it.
