Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lars: "are we playing Dublin this year?"

James: " well Kirk what's the outlook for EMEA and specifically UK and Ire for the 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2017?"

Kirk: "well james, the uncertainty around brexit certainly adds a risk, FG have no clear brexit strategy and the UK are blind, over all I would suggest we park til Financial year 018 and review the situation then....and make sure to play whiskey"

They're going to play it in the next few months, serious improvement on the last tuning room effort, James is tight, but Kirk is a disaster. Just goes to show who wrote it and who was winging it during the recording.

Or who recorded it and who was absent

Why is Kirk so bad these last few years? Can't be age because Joe Satch is older than he is and is stellar. Maybe he just doesn't care.

Looks like he was publicly demoted after skom

The albums he played rhythm guitar on - Load, Reload, Garage Inc, St Anger, Death Magnetic - were far worse than the ones where James played all the rhythms - Kill, Ride, Master, Justice, Black, Hardwired.

Make of that what you will.

Kirk has sounded really sloppy for a while now. His live tone is also shocking which probably doesn't help. In most tuning room videos I've seen he doesn't sound great. I think he had tendinitis in his arm at one point. I wonder if that's the cause.

I think Kirk sharpened up in recent years. There was definitely a stage where he was shocking (I think the antarctic concert was a low point LOL), but he seems to have tightened up a good bit in the live performances I've seen in the last 2 years or so.

In fairness they said the same for the last tour as well which was also in the round. I asked Lars about it in 2010 and he said it wouldn't work which is why they went to Belfast instead.
