Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got blocked recently on a poker site and I find I can't sign with a new identity because they seem to have blocked my PC.

I changed my Mac address but this didn't help. I also erased all my cookies and did a restore to an earlier date , but no luck. My Internet access is via DSL and a router. Surely my IP address is changing all the time and can't be blocked.
I'd appreciate any ideas - thanks

Depends on who your provider is, even though they are almost certainly using dynamic ip assignment you may have the same ip address for an extended period of time depending on their renewal policies, I thought most did it every 24 hours or so knowadays but i am not sure TBH.

If they went to the trouble of blocking your IP then they don't want you there.

    Move on!

And we're not in the business of telling you how to access sites that don't want you.
