    OZZY OSBOURNE will release "Scream" — his first album in almost three years and 10th studio album overall — on June 15 via Epic Records. Produced by Ozzy and Kevin Churko, both of whom did the same honors for Ozzy's 2007 worldwide million-seller "Black Rain", the album will feature the first single "Let Me Hear You Scream". The fist-pumping anthemic song will have its world premiere, during a prison riot scene, on "CSI: NY" tonight, Wednesday, April 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the CBS television network and also arrives at radio today.

    A preview of "Let Me Hear You Scream" is available below.

    The multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer recorded most of "Scream" at his Los Angeles home studio, The Bunker, and co-wrote all the songs, primarily with Churko. Notably, the album marks the first appearance of Ozzy's new guitar player, Gus G. (FIREWIND, ex-DREAM EVIL, ARCH ENEMY). Ozzy's band also features bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, drummer Tommy Clufetos (ex-ROB ZOMBIE, ALICE COOPER) and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.

    Songtitles set to appear on "Scream" (among others):

    * Let Me Hear You Scream
    * Diggin' Me Down
    * Let It Die
    * Soul Sucker
    * Fearless
    * I Want It All
    * Time
    * Crucify
    * I Love You All

    Ozzy will also embark on an 18-month world tour (dates to be announced) in support of "Scream", with news about Ozzfest to emerge next week.

    Can't wait,really liked Black Rain and the gig at the point was one of my all time favourites :)

    Classic Ozzy ? ... To me Classic Ozzy is :

    Crazy Train
    Mr. Crowley
    Flying High Again
    Over the Mountain
    Bark at the Moon
    No Bone Movies
    Shot in the Dark
    The Ultimate Sin
    Goodbye to Romance etc etc ...

    ... this sounds more like the generic crap he's been banging out since he "discovered" Zakk Wylde ...

    Ah look, we can disagree, some people claim ac/dc have been banging out generic crap all their lives but i could give a ****, i love 'em.

    Yeah the early stuff was and is great but so too was the zakk wilde stuff.
    You may not like it but his sound was a massive influence for years to come.

    If he plays here on this tour go and see him though, it will be great, it always is.:)

    Good Dark Lord, that sounds terrible! I can only liken it to one of those "hard rock" theme tunes for <pick one> wrestler!

    Awful ****e. Sounds like a cross between cast offs of Rob Zombie (although his latest album covers the cast offs idea pretty well as well) and cast offs of BLS.

    doesnt sound all that bad but of course its not going to be his early work people change, i mean he was off his face through all that. His song with slash was class

    I agree, also the guitar sound is bit boring and generic as well.

    Thanks for that, it gave a great laugh. It's good to see Ozzy with a great sence of humour.:)

    Zakk Wylde was brilliant on No Rest for the Wicked and No more Tears. Everything else after that was pretty bad.

    +1

    He just overplays on everything after that.

    This new single does nothing for me either.

    Why was there no Irish date one the tour I wonder :mad:

    Fcuker is player all over Europe for the next few months.

    I have a feeling it will be his last also, he's 61 now.

    Personally I like the album.
    Let it Die is a good song.
    Let me hear you scream too
    Diggin me down too.

    There are a few good songs on it. Personally considering his age and what not it stands up very well. I like it.
    One criticism is the drums in it. Dont really like them.

    I agree, there's no need for a pinch harmonic every two notes.

    Gonna listen to to a few new Ozzy tracks & see if they're good.

    Also does anyone think "Ozzified" would be a great album title:D

    I have not listened to it since. Has two good songs.

    Defo. "Live at Budokan" - an excellent live album partially ruined by Wylde's overplaying, he just can't help himself.

    Sometimes Zakk, less is more.........

    Not the best choice of song and the videos rather odd,anyhow

    Ozzy Osbourne singing his version of the song "How?" from John Lennon's 1971 "Imagine" album. Ozzy has released this as a 70th birthday tribute to John Lennon. All proceeds benefit Amnesty International.
