Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think you mean BAW17V. At 8000 feet now. Quite low.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

Think BAW17V is landing anyways, 4000 feet.

BAW274, down to 575 feet, soon to land in Shannon no doubt. Poor passangers who thought they were getting off at Heathrow can get a bus and a boat so.

Looks like BA and NATS are having a bit of a showdown... wouldn't the UK's RAF have to blow these planes out of the sky if they are breaching restrictions on Brit airspace?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,327 ✭✭✭sunbabe08

can the flight from vancouver land in belfast??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭irish1967

Why are they so afraid to let a plane enter the London area?????

Not a good place to crash a plane. Actually, from living there its quite a good place to crash a plane. London or Grimsby, take your pick.

cause planes are banned from entering british airspace. although i love that there ok to enter irish airspace even though it's pretty much in the same situation as britian

Would be great up there at the moment looking down at the Mountain formations of Mayo and Galway; highest sea cliffs in Northern Europe; loughs and bays, etc - clear skys an all - one of the best views on the planet.

But yeah they must be getting a bit dizzy the amount of times they have been going around!

I am looking west to see if I can see some contrails behind the mountains along the coast. Can't see anything but a load of mares tails being highlighted by the sun setting.
