I am starting a new Gig, "Classic Oldies" from all decades, at a North Dublin city Venue I played a few times at the same venue/ large Pub.

I have a mp3 library of over 55.000 songs. I would appreciate your input as to songs that you would like to hear if you were by chance at the venue some night.

Not that you will be there but I have been approached a few times by punters complimenting me on my playlist, plus the level I keep the music at.

So I have decided to keep the music at a low but audible level, but also stopping short of people dancing, which the management do not condone believe it or not.

So in short just a music bar. But I do not have a playlist and with the amount of songs I have, I just scroll through the music list and pick out what "I want, I.E. my music". So I would appreciate your help in what I should play, what you hopefully post will be my playlist. To be honest I done the last few gigs "FREE" so the entertainment guy coul give me a shot at it, so he has and I will be playing twice a week , paid for. (happy days)

The songs you like can be from any era so up to you, and thank you for your input.

I currentl play sounds from Bryan Ferry, Genises, ELO, etc. which seems to keep the punters happy. But if I play them every week I will be shown the door.

I will make a playlist of whatever you decide on, so in theory I am playing what the general public wants, from all walks of life.

    Thanks in advance:)

    Convoy by C.W. McCall
Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye) by Bananarama
In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins
Forgiven Not Forgotten by The Corrs
    Believe by Cher

These songs all have that something special that makes a good night out even better. If I heard any of these songs in a bar or club on a night out I'd definitely go back again :)
