The Chronicle has a front page article with a picture showing the massive amount of filth and rubbish dumped in some poor Farmers field beside Castletroys €2,000,000 Halting Site.

    - We didn't do it claim the shocked and horrified clean living Feng Shui, Potpourri toting Travellers within - going on to explain in detail that us bad, bad Limerick People are driving up there, parking up their cars and dumping huge quantities of rubbish over the Halting Site wall and into the adjacent Field..... Presumably when this happens they wring their little hands and write concerned letters to the Authorities.....

In a strange and unrelated coincidence, on the way to Lahinch you pass the exact same scene at the Halting Site before Ennis - A long breeze-block wall with a mountain of assorted household filth which has clearly been dumped over the wall by the Occupants of the Social Welfare Workers Union within - Clearly the People of County Clare find it easiest to dump rubbish via a Halting Site too - It only makes sense to pack your household rubbish into your Car and dump it in the midst of 25 slash-hook brandishing Travellers.

They should be given a week to dispose of it legally and if they will not they should be moved on - If they are able to dump it in the first place they should be able fcuking well remove it. Alternatively when we are asked to pay for it to be moved then it should be dumped back into their fcuking Campsite so that they too can admire it in all its glory.

    - Surely Society is tired of paying for this type of ignorant, Scumbag behaviour where the Travellers disrespect everybody in sight, quote how they are unfairly discriminated against, fcuk us all over and then we just sigh and pay for it yet again.....

Until they become sick like the lady on Longpavement whose family then tried to sue Limerick City Council because the place was dirty.

Look what they got. New mobile homes, not houses because you cannot build permanent building next to a dump.

But you can build a dump next to permanent buildings, legally or not.

The saddest thing of all is that they have three ponies in there amongst all the junk and rubbish. They were being grazed illegally on development land next to the Storm cinema until they broke out on the road and when the owner came along, the guards were already on the scene. Those horses weren't getting any water or feed when they were up by Storm cinema and you can bet they're faring no better now. To have a look all you have to do is drive into the Lidl carpark and go right over to the boundary fence at the back - you'll see it all.
