I am looking for 4 tyres for VW Polo (175/65 13)

    Atlas Tyres Quote:
    Firestone - €70 each
    Fedral - €60 each

    Fastfit Quote:
    Firestone - €60
    Roadstone - €55

    Keane Christy Saggart Ltd
    Hankook - €50
    Fedral - €45

I am not sure which one is better, I mean firestone, roadstone or Hankook.

Is there anyplace where I can get them any cheaper?

How about buying them online and paying the €10 or so to have them fitted and balanced locally.
The 2 sites I have used are
    1 CamSkill - http://camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s371p0
    2 http://eiretyres.com/

If you're looking for REALLY cheap tyres I was in the scrap yard yest and saw a few tyres with great treads in them, think they were going for 12 euro each??

In order of cost, quality and also my personal preference

    Firestone - €60

    Hankook - €50

and TBH firestone @ €60 fitted and balanced is not too bad.

there is a place just off the belgard road in tallaght, i think they where called autodepot and they do good part worn tyres, i got 4 michelin tyres 13" i think for 25 each, fitted and balanced. they had about 70 or 80 % tread left. I would recommend them.

Ha Ha I have to agree.
But I can also understand concerns about prices.
I need a new tyre for my Jeep Compass (215/55 R18)
Tried the two sites mentioned earlier and the cheapest available is around €180 (Inc. delivery, Exc. Fitting).
Is it me or have tyre prices rocketed up in the last year or two?:(

I'd recommend either Butler tyres in Harolds cross or Dave McCann havent dealt with both over the last few years, Dave does mobile tyre change which is handy for customers pestering you :D
