Fairly sure you can alright. You can get gel and granules, I've only tried the gel myself and it works well. I put a bit on one of those Tommee Tippee Gummy Teethers and hold it for him to chomp on. He's only just learning to bring things to his mouth that aren't his hands.

Hi, Teetha is usually available in both chemists and in health food shops. it comes in two forms, sachets and gel. It is a homeopathic formula of Chamomilla. I used the sachets, its a fine granular powder that you just tip into the child's mouth. I found them fantastic and usually calmed my son down straight away, they seem to like chewing on the granules as well (they are very fine so no worries about choking).
They are safe to use on any age they also worked on my oh when he had toothache and was grumpy:rolleyes:

Worked very well for us as well on our two.
I also had some stuff called Hylands homeopathic teething tablets which worked as well.

Thanks a million all. Its good to get a good recommendation of something. My little lassies teeth seem to be coming through early enough, started when bout 3 and half months. Shes just four and a half months now and beginning to be able to put things in her month so that tip about putting it on one of her gnawing toys may be just the trick. :)
Havent heard of the Hylands, may be worth investigating too. Thanks.

I tried the granules on my second child and found them useless. Calgel worked the best out of all the things I tried.

The Teetha products are very easy to get your hands on, never had a problem getting a box when I needed one. Had moderate success with the granules with our daughter early on (not so much once teeth started appearing), the Gel didn't do much good at all though. Not a patch on the Dentinox (sp?) gel but you can't seem to buy that easily, we may have picked that up on a trip to the north. It's worth the effort though, Dentinox gel works like black magic :)

We are using the granules at the moment with our 3mnth old they work a treat. I tend to rub them into her gums. Tried the gel with my son when he was a wee one and had no effect at all.

Ambesol is not for use on babies! It clearly says not for use on under 10's on the box!!

Apologies, I see that there is an Anbesol product for babies!

Brilliant product... Have nothing but positive to say.... My child has epilipsey and this means he cannot use bonjella  cant remember why. I used teetha and tbh I was dubious as i use other herbal crap on myself but my childs lack of tears never lied....

My child does not know what a placebo is... Have you tried it on yours.... Or are you asking us if we have noticed that it only works because its sugar.

Well, it' s homeopathic afaik. I did use it on my son a few times but tbh he didn't seem overly bothered by teething anyway. It just seemed more like soething for the parent to do so they didn't feel helpless rather than anything else.
