Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If possible would appreciate hearing from guys who work in IT from enterprise point of view when it comes to imaging, its one of the many areas I cover, and fairly handy but can be time consuming etc, have used all Ghost products up to 2003 and HD Clone , currently with a company of approx more than 500 user, they want to change their imaging and take advantage of new technologies, can anyone recommend a path for this to happen, would greatly appreciate it thanks, for the most part still on XP, but I expect they will be changing to Windows 7 soon enough

A PXE boot to a answer filed Windows image would be the easiest option for windows 7. Coupled with a customized USMT transfer to a remote server.

Considering that Windows 7 is easy to network image without the use of additional licensing and you have 500 users would it not make more sense to move away from a traditional imaging process?

Exam 70-680 should all the info you need.

    http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/261-how-can-i-capture-an-image-using-wds/

Check that link out. I moved from a Ghost solution here to Windows Deployment Services (WDS) on Win2003 SP2 box.
Using PXE boot too so doing away with boot cds etc
I have 1 XP image which works on all our various pcs/laptops. Syspreped with HAL detection too.

Yet to go Win7 but I'm sure that's down the road.

You can use gimagex gui too if you wnt to avoid the commandline.
(Note you can't inject patches or drives etc into a XP WIM image)
