His parents said he could be done by the revenue. what does this mean? also, i myself worked a fair bit last year in a job i got through a recruitment company but have no emergency tax owed to me. is there any way of claiming…

any way of finding out? im not due to start my new job for another while so short on funds.

I'm not 100% sure. It could depend on how long you were employed or how long you are out of work. Ring Revenue and find out.
