Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Prayer of faithful for a Polish remembrance mass

    Hello,

I've been asked to do a prayer of the faithful tomorrow evening in my parish church. It is to show our support for the local Polish people in remembrance of the victims that died in the plane crash.

I would like your feedback on the following which I have written.

We pray for the people who died in the tragedy & the families they have left behind. My God bless their souls, Lord hear us.

We pray for the Polish people espically the ones in our community. May God give them strength in this time of grief. Lord hear us.

I think I need to change "God bless their souls" to something else but can't think what. Any ideas?

    Regards,

    WM

Good lad water man, however if I were to change one thing, it would be the word ''die'' and I'd change it to ''passed away''.

Bless their souls is just fine *thumbs up*

Prayers dont have to be complicated for God is a God of simplicity, and your simple prayers go down well. :)

One last question, is there a number of you saying the prayers of the faithful, or is it just yourself?
