Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hard Drive Recovery Recommendations

    Hey,

dropped my 1tb hard drive and now it seems to be screwballed. Made a whirring and clicking noise and wasnt showing up on the pc. The noises stopped and still wasn't being recognised. tried to put it into various drives and software retrievals etc with no joy.

Anyway it def needs to be sent to a lab. I wont be freezing it or replacing drive heads as the data is too important.

Being quoted about 450 quid for a full lab retrieval (clean room, technician etc) :(

just wondering does anybody have a good recommendation for a cheaper reliable data retrieval firm?

All help would be really appreciated! :)
