How do I 100% backup my iphone?

    So that if I lost it I could restore a new one so that it's identical to the old one in every aspect software-wise and app-wise.

    I'm more concerned about apps than music as I only really use my iphone for podcasts and a few other bits and pieces, all of which can be easily downloaded again.
