Disclaimer: I used to work here, but I'm not even in Oz anymore.

Every Thursday from 6pm onwards:
$8.50 for a big, tasty, double patty burger & an alternating schooner (425ml) of an Aussie microbrew which is usually a lager (they'll give you a draught apple or pear cider if beer isn't your thing).
Essentially you're getting the beer for free.
It seems to be quite popular with uni students in particular.

It's in the back corner of Fed Square, between ACMI & the Atrium.
If you like trying new beers: they have a selection of around 170, which are constantly changing.

just discovered that there is a new pizza place in town called HIDDEN PIZZA and apart of their marketing strategy they are giving away FREE PIZZAS untill the 25th April!

Hot Salami: Napoli, hot salami, fresh mozzarella, olives.
Margarita: Napoli, fresh mozzarella, basil.
Vegetarian: Crispy potato, taleggio, spinach.
Prawn: Napoli, fresh mozzarella, tiger prawns, garlic, parsley.
Capricciosa: Napoli, leg ham, fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, black olives.

All you have to do is call the number, order and they give you the location of where to pick it up.

nice one on that hidden pizza - that's actually a marketing campaign for yellow pages - the pizza place is only there for 2 weeks and then its gone

Keep away from IGA & 7 Eleven, they will rob you (especially 7 Eleven) and they won't even stab you or nothin'.
