Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Took these this evening at Senior league match between St. Maurs Rush and St. Marks Tallaght. The pace of the game was amazing, the players were all so fast.

My aim was to get some really crisp shots for our club website, www.stmaursgaa.ie . These are the pick of what I got. Would welcome any advice on how to improve them.

Should I always try and have plenty of detail in faces or in at least 1 face? This evening I shot all at f5.6.

    3 f's
    Faces ( & eyeballs )
    Focus
    Football

I really like the 1st one. Perfection for me would be 3 players & 6 eyeballs. Unfortunately 2 of these guys are playing with their eyes shut! Nevertheless it is in my view a good 'un. I love the light, too. The 2nd photo is OK - players in focus & sharp but they occupy only about 1/3 of the photo.

Thanks for reply. The 1st one with the ball they had their eyes shut every time he got the ball he scored 5 points;). I doidnt even notice that their eyes were closed. The lad with the ball is great to watch as he is always full of running and effort.
In #2 There was a fairly good crowd at the match (about 300) and I wanted to get some of them in the background. Probably should have moved closer to sideline. Next time!
