Recommend a venue in London? Equivalent of Whelans in Dublin please

17-04-2010 12:09am#1Long story short, have to take my sister out for her birthday and don't want to do the usual club thing. I was hoping for something similar to Whelans/Village/Twisted Pepper: indie ish club (I know) with a reasonably decent live act. 2nd weekend in May.
The twist is I need somewhere in London as that's where she lives, Camden/ North London pref
