Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Sony media centre pc too and can't get sound through the HDMI. I have an LG tv and just get the audio separately and put it through a stereo.

its been a while since i used xp but in your audio properties basiclly there may be a playback device called SPDIF output or a second audio device. set this as default. your graphics card may also just unfortunately support audio over HDMI, in which case an audio lead from the speakers jack combined with the VGA output will do the same job (just connect the audio leads to the white and red audio connectors on the tv and the VGA to the VGA IN port on the tv). you can pick up a VGA and audio cable set handy enough anyway. thats the way i connect my netbook to my tv, with a wireless keyboard then so i can sit back on the couch.

my main laptop then i use the hdmi port to tv and it carries the audio.
