Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A story carried on the BBC World Service overnight about a South London born prem player who is paying about 80,000 a year to a criminal gang that includes fellas he used to know as a teenager.

No doubt some detail will come to light in the next day or two. No doubt this sort of thing goes on quite a bit.

    John Terry.

Despite the fact he was born in East London, it's always John Terry.

Brazilian footballer murders prostitute? That'd be John Terry. African striker arrested for child trafficking? That's a John Terry. Colombian drug baron who has absolutely nothing to do with football gunned down by SWAT team during tactical raid gone wrong in eastern Bogota? That's also John Terry.

    This is how tabloids work.

BBC World Service is not a tabloid. They do their research.

The whole programme is about the mob/crim aspect of football.

It says Prem player so its obviously not one of the big lads, probably a Hull player or something.

Defoe was born in East London.

My money is on Scott Parker or Carlton Cole.
