Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Actually a Mac will read/write to a Fat32 drive just fine. Format the whole thing as FAT32

Sorry about that format it all, in fat32.

Both Linux and OSx can read and write to NTFS using ntfs-3g.

You have a file size limit of 4GB on Fat32. That might or might not be important, but if you have any large ISOs or movies it will be a problem.

How do I format the disc to use ntfs-3g. When I begin to read about it I see Linux and my eyes glaze over and I start to remember the torture of trying to install stuff on my linux EEpc.

YOU download ntfs-g and install it on the mac, see here,
    http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/2009/04/ntfs-3g-200944.html
you need mac osx 10.4, or 10.5 .
you install it like any mac program.no need to know unix or linux.
