Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I have a '01 Ford Mondeo TD and I noticed today that as I go over speedbumps there is a loud cracking sound(thats as good as I can describe it)from the front of the car ie the wheels. It happens just as the wheels meet the bump. This is unusual and I was wondering what it could be,the description isnt the best but it might ring bells for someone. Thanks in advance.
    David

My first thought would be loose wheel nuts/bolts. Check them immediately to confirm or deny.

After that, it could be wheel bearings, suspension components, loose bodywork, or who knows what else.

    Check those wheels first though!

Thanks Melodeon. The wheels seem to be fine. I'll bring it in to a garage Monday and take it from there. You dont know of any mechanics who work sundays by any chance??
