Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Just looking to get a RROD free xbox 360 ie one that will not develop the problem. Is there any manufacture date, components or serial numbers that I should be looking for??

    Thanks in advance

Anything with new Jasper chipset will give you some peace of mind. Look for consoles made in 09 or later or have a look on adverts. I've seen a few Jasper xboxs over there

Anything made after June/July '09 is as good as you can get really.

But in saying that these can still get RROD failures too, they are just less likely the develop the fault. Careful of second hand 360s, even recent enough ones. They may be ex RROD repair jobs even though they are made after mid '09. Once it has happened to a console once they are prone for it to occur again in my experience.
