Can't send texts due to message not sending?

    Hey all,

    I apologise for my complete lack of knowledge in this area, and I'm aware that a google search could probably provide a simple solution, but I haven't a clue what I need to google to find an answer?!


    Pretty much, using a Sony Ericsson on 3. Tried to send a message and it wouldn't send. Gives an error message and got stuck in the 'outbox'.

    Now it's saying that the text is queued and it won't let me send any other texts at all? I can't delete the queued text, either.


    anyone got any idea?


    Sorry again if this is a common problem or simple issue.

    yup sounds like the weird sony ericsson problem that's cropped up a couple of times in the last few handsets

    try this - go in to settings and activate airplane mode (if it's not already on), then turn your handset off. Turn it back on and choose the airplane mode option that should appear. Go in to messages now and you should be able to delete the one that's causing the block. Turn the phone back off and on as normal and you should be good to go
