There are many drama schools over Dublin. Even boards.ie has a group, 'No Drama Theatre'. Our forum is http://nodrama.boards.ie

The best way to work your way up is to get involved with a group and audition, audition, audition. Do the workshops and network. But above all, enjoy it!

For other drama groups in Dublin, you could contact the Drama League of Ireland. www.dli.ie They could advise you.

The Lir are part of Trinity College and they have a few different acting and drama courses. There is a list of them and some other courses here
