Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

nope I think he gave it up

I remember a story regrading him not wanting to do friendlies but the management weren't having it so McCarthy quit

Using that extra time off effectively by the looks of things huh? :)

The first one has actually gone through my head.

    Opr

    Huh?

Wonder if Degen coming on as a sub might be abit of a shop window effort.

Don't understand the logic in leaving Kuyt on for the full 90.

Solid performance. You can only beat what is put infront of you, etc.

Disappointed we didnt go for more goals - Man City have GD27, Spurs have 28 and we are on 23. could potentially come down to that, maybe not for 4th but for 5th.

Carragher routinely looks demolished in post match interviews.

Everytime I look at that table cant believe we are on verge on missing out on fourth. Was well within our reach. Not good enough.

If more of our players looked that way after matches then we'd be higher up the table.

Hammers getting hammered on ESPN. But they were poor tonight.

Hammers fans are good craic, between themselves and QPR the best fans from london in my experience.

They actually are. I remember one Paddy's day in Madrid going on the absolute lash with a load of Hammers fans and taking over an Irish bar singing "We will take our willies out at Tottenham.":pac:

One of 'em psyched me out in a game of pool with international pride at stake by putting his nutsack in the pocket of the pool table every time it was my turn to shoot.

    Lunatics.

    that's not true.

if there's one thing you can't throw at our players, it's that they haven't put effort in.

Gotta disagree there....did you see them against Man City.
Also, you could hardly say that Gerrard has put 100% in this season.

yes, and two defensive teams with the same stubborn formations and tactics caused that, not lack of effort.

    Gerrard equal all players.

imo, only one of our players has regularly showed a lack of effort this season.

Yeah but you can hardly expect Riise to start putting in the effort now, he has been gone ages.

Anybody know roughly how long it takes for the goals to be uploaded to footy tube or something?

Ermm you do realise that on the official site he has gotten a good chunk of the MOTM votes for every game that he has played this season regardless of his form?

People are better off trusting what they see with their own eyes, than going by a poll where the voters are made up of e ticket holders, who were probably listening to an audio feed of the game.

I think last night Gerrard was our most creative player. Put in a series of quality crosses in during the night.
