Some guy on HUKD just ordered 85 of them. That'll be the final nail in the coffin of something that probably never would have been honored anyway. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,622 ✭✭✭Kevin!

I was going to order one to ireland and deal with the consiquences if they decide not to honour the offer but couldn't be bothered sending it to relatives in the uk with that risk

thanks op for posting the offer though

    Tried it.

It wont let me get it delivered to the in-laws in fermanagh.:(

I've had similar probs with amazon before where it insisted that the billing address be in the uk also.

I'm trying to convince my mom to let me send it to relatives in the UK.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,960 ✭✭✭Soarer

Decided to order 2, and get them delivered to my sister in Edinburgh. I'll take one, and give the parents the other one.

Came to the grand total of £451.90 delivered. Also used the code PIXUKAPRIL6 to get an extra £6 off!:D

Fat chance of receiving it if some dick is already after ordering 85!

Did you order it delivered to Ireland?. If so how? I cannot order to Ireland!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

Ordered with 30 secs to spare,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭BigEejit

It looks like a UK site ..... and then you put in an order and it says the country I am in is "ROYAUME UNI"

I did a serious double take when I saw that, "WTF is THAT?"
    Wiki is my friend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royaume-Uni

Also got the "where will we put it?" from the ball and chain

Yeah the timers reset when it hit zero, maybe I was a bit zealous in demanding my mother to call the aunt and uncle in the UK to make arrangements, whilst humming the countdown music. Probably better though, the more time I give her to think about..

Yeah, I would be extremely surprised if this one was real .... last time I ordered a misprice I got a £5 voucher for tesco direct .... might get a few quid out of it :P

This is Pixmania, based on personal experience you'll be waiting a hell of a lot longer than that.

Just ordered two to my UK address

Hopefully there'll be someone there to accept.

Not that the order will ever be sent.

I've just noticed a loyalty card charged on my order.
My bet is they'll refund the TV prices and still charge me for the loyalty card :(.
Still worth it on the off chance they honour the deal or give me a gift cert.

Me too, they are telling me to contact customer services when I try to get it delivered up north?

I suspect that they may be (I'm close to using the word 'scam') using agressive marketing techniques here.

I reckon they are pricing like this in order to rank highly on bargain and comparison engines. There might be some legal clause that says they have to honour the deal but they might get away with just horouring 1 item.

Apart from this, unless its a mistake/misprint, it makes no sense whatsoever

lol do we all remember the €1 blu ray players and such on pixmania before... guys I wouldnt even waste your time ordering them... I think they do it for publicity.

But they have to honour it! They took the money from my account, so a legal contract has been formed. EU law states....;)

Link in the OP isn't working, and if you search for 47LE5300 it comes up as £ 1,369.10
They were blatantly doing it for publicity, but fingers crossed for you guys!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 306 ✭✭high heels

If they took your money allready how the hell did the guy who bought 85 of them put 16k on his CC... Mad bastid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,960 ✭✭✭Soarer

It says on the order confirmation that delivery will be carried out by Currys Home Delivery.
So maybe a few will slip through the net before they're caught?

I reckon people that ordered before the 85 have a slight chance, and those that ordered afterwards have none.
