Question about Data Plans and iPhone

I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 3GS tomorrow on o2, but have a few questions regarding the Data Usage.

I'm planning on getting it on PrePay, and I see you can get 50MB for 99c daily, but
I don't know would 50MB cover me (probably use Safari, Youtube, google maps, heavy enough). Would 50MB be enough?

While looking I also seen Mobile Broadband plans, such as their 30 day plan with 5GB for €19.90.
Would I be able to use these with my iPhone, or are they only compatible with a PC/Laptop?

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick
