I just find it weird that any time they have been mentioned in recent years people have laughed at them and dismissed them as the shi'ite corporate kiddy crap-rappers they are. But now that they are actually playing here we suddenly have people coming out of the woodwork praising them and saying, "Limp Bizkit forever". Yeah lets all keep rollin rollin rollin rollin! For all the people on here talking utter crap about Limp Bizkit,why the hell come into a thread about there live show in Dublin??

Yes its true Limp Bizkits star has waned.The genre of new metal has waned since the hey day of 2000-2003.The likes of Staind Limp Korn Creed Deftones are no longer topping the charts but even when they were, these bands were being accused of 'Selling Out'.So NO.... they cant win!!
For all mocking the 'talentless' Fred Durst,a man who is now a Hollywood film director and a vice prseident at Interscope Records and is pretty much made for life,i think he has pretty much done well from his limited talent.
He pretty much made the hole nu metal genre of the early noughties.Chocolate starfish is still the fastest selling rock album EVER!!Look it up.
They were booked for Punchestown in 2001.Now there playing the Olympia.Times they are a changing.
But for all the people who grew up with Limp in there teens (which includes me) and has pretty much moved on in our musical tastes (Snow Patrol,The Coronas,Florence and the Machine) i think that no one can begrudge us a chance to re live a part of our teens.Bring the beat back.

And also I dont think a band who are singing about Doing it all for the Nookie are trying to be serious or make a Bono or Chris Martin type political statement.Limp Bizkit are what they are.People hate Fred.People hate Bertie Aherne.people hate God. There are alot of haters. For the lucky people who get to see Limp Bizkit you will not be dissappointed. Look up youtube.They will tear up the olympia and do it one last time.

I don't have to look it up.. I was alive when these clowns where ruining rock and metal the first time around. Thanks to nu metal punks like Limp Biscuit, I overheard someone who thought bands like Metallica were 'rappers'.
