    Hi guys,

Looking for some help here. I have just installed french doors at the rear of the house and a standard pvc door to the front. i am hearing alot of negative comments regarding the security of these and was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to get some extra bolts / locks for these ?

    Thanks

Do you mean ordinary bolts as against the ones the PVC company might have? You would be best to go back to the supplier first to see if they do any, as PVC doors are not really suitable for fitting additional locks.

You can screw into the aluminium frames if you feel you absolutely must, but get it right first time because the mark will stay if you change your mind:eek:
Drill a very tiny hole with the thinnest drill bit, then screw into it, but only do it once as the aluminium isn't forgiving about re-screwing. It really won't look very elegant and I would say go back to the manufacturers first.
