Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How do I go about getting a bike?

    Hey,

I'm a twenty year old with a provisional car license but am about to do the full test and I'm pretty confident I'll pass.

However, it's a bike I'm more interested in getting. My dad used to be a biker in his day (the Harley and Virago scene) but he can't really advise me on this: as I stand on my provisional, what sized bike can I get insured on? And when I get my full license what sized bike can I get? Do I have to do an aditional bike test after that?

The bike I've my eye on would be a Triumph Bonneville or a Royal Entfield...

Any advice would be appreciated :)

    Pass theory test.
    Get A class learners permit.
Get bike under 33bhp (most bikes can be restricted to this power output).
    Wait six months.
    Sit driving test & pass.
    Wait two years.
    Get any bike you want.
