    Hey guys,

Doing a college project involving military recruitment.

According to the Cadet Recruitment Booklet 2009, Stage 1 involves "Job
    Simulation Exercise and Aptitude Tests"

I can't find any info on what these tests are made up of - can anyone enlighten me as to what they are?

The more info the better, thanks in advance.

"a. Stage 1 – Job Simulation Exercise and Aptitude Tests
    (1) Stage 1 of the selection procedure involves tests that measure a range
of skills and qualities that are necessary in the job. These tests
provide a consistent and suitable way of screening candidates at the
initial stage of the selection campaign. These tests are designed to
identify the most suitable people to go forward to the next stage of
the Cadetship Competition. The tests have been designed so that they
are fair to all applicants and are objectively scored."

You're given a scenario and have to pick one out of five choices with each choice being assigned a point score. I assume it's 1 to 5 but I'm not sure on that.

The scenarios were taken from the real experiences of cadets/officers.

You could use a FOI request to see if you can obtain a copy of the test from last year.
