weight loss and lots of miles!!!

    Well i am starting this log so i can make myself stick to a good routine of miles and good diet!!!
    I will be logging details of both each day!!!


    Mon:14mile run !!!
    bowl of wetabix for breakfast
    12 choclate biscuits while out playing golf and soem pringles:mad:
    fruit:Pear and Banana
    Dinner:beef,spuds,carrots and cabbage
    Snack 9pm cottage pie:eek:

    Tue:10mile run !!!
    Large bowl of porridge
    Lunch 2 slices of brown bread with tomato and cheese
    3 squares of chocolate
    fruit:Banana and 2 pears
    Dinner:chicken,peas,carrots and spuds
    Snack:few pringles

    ran 5mins easy 25mins steady and 5mins easy.
    total distance:6miles
    Breakfast:pear and pint of protein mix
    snack:4 squares of caramel,2 x small muller rice
    Fruit:pear x 2 Bannana x 2
    dinner:4 slices of ham,4 spuds and carrots and small tin of beans
    snack 9pm;
    2 slices of brown bead and cheese

    Thur:
    Ran 14miles today at an easy pace
    breakfast:Muesli,melon and yougart
    Lunch:sushi
    Dinner:Steak and Spuds with carrotts and Peas.
    went to guy for 35mins and worked on Flexibity

    Fri:Rest
    Had 4 pints on a work night out,Large dinner and plenty of water !!!

    Sat:10MILE RUN STEADY
    Breakfast:full irish breakfast,yougart and Muesli
    Lunch:Banana
    Dinner:chops,spuds,onions and Carrots

    Sunday:
    10miles 70min run
    Skipped breakfast
    Had Chiper for lunch and for Dinner i had Chops,spuds,carrots and Brocoli.
    Week was very solid,couple of little niggles so going to book in for a massage soon.

    Monday:Ran into work 10miles
    breakfast was 2 pieces of fruit and 2 slices of brown bread
    Dinner Shepards pie peas and spuds

    tue:55min run 8miles steady
    Dinner steak,spuds,brocoli and carrots.
    Diet been fairly good.Had a solero as a treat :D

    17mile run @ 7min pace
    breakfast 4slices of brown bread and an apple+yougart.
    dinner was rice chickena nd pepers.

    You eat as much as I do. Although you are doing some decent milage ata quick pace so you should be running it off. Good luck with the log

    Usually im eating alot more haha.Find the fitter i get the more healthy i eat.Body can't run well on eating rubbish.
    Lost 6 pounds in last 6 weeks so weight coming down nicely.

    Building base for last 4 weeks and want to continue this right up until cross country season.
    Might incorporate a half marathon into my schedule just to keep the motivation high.Acill half might suit,going to make a decision soon as entry closes soon.

    Thursday:breakfast was apple and pear,didnt have time for proper breakfast.
    Cycled 20miles today
    Easy run in the evening of 6miles(quads very heavy from the cycle earlier)
    Lunch i had chicken salad and some pringles.
    Dinner was late at 10pm and had omlette and chips.

    breakfast:6 weetabix and a pear
    8miles steady,legs felt a little looser today and second half of the run was 6.30miles.
    Lunch:2 sambos,hunky dorys
    Dinner:didn;t have a dinner today
    snack:2 chicken sambos,wine guns approx 15,onion ring crisps
    Drank plenty of water.

    10mile run and few strides after,plenty of strectching after.
    legs very heavy due to the increase in mileage.
    post snack:chargrilled vegetables and couscous.
    3 litres of water.:D

    Lunch:sushi and salad
    5mile easy run as plan on doing 10k time trail tommorow
    Dinner:spuds,chicken,carrots and onions
    total miles 5

    Breakfast:pear:o
    lunch:weetabix x 4 and 2 yougarts
    Dinner:steak spuds and veg
    Ran 2mile warm up and then did 10k time trial in 34.42
    was happy enough with the time as i started to fast and died a little.
    did 4mile cool down and loads stretches
    total miles 12

    13mile run @ 7min pace.Quads where in tatters from the time trial yesterday.
    Snacks:yorkie and onion rings
    Dinner:bangers and mash,onions and beans:P
    drank 4 litres of water today...

    felt tired today and ouple of niggles at me.
    Muscle soreness starting to ease now but it bands still tight and sore.

    dinner was eating out and spoiled myself
    Starters-muscles

    desert was ice cream
    I skipped breakfast and had a panini at lunch

    went over on my ankle 2mins into my run,poxy count council shore was open and put my foot down it.cycled 20miles instead.:mad:

    tue and wed did 30mins light and ankle seems better.
    ran 6 x 2mins last night in a hilly area with 70seconds recovery,legs where in bits today but nice feeling:P
    did 8mile easy run today and diet has been good today after pigging out
    for last two days:(

    Friday:under pressure at work so just ran 5miles easy and 45mins o the bike
    satuday:11miles steady,felt very tired from stresfull week at work
    Sunday:ran 14miles average pace 6.40 and fastest mile 6.06
    felt like my legs where coming back to themselves after tough session wed.
    total miles for the week:60

    very happy with middle half of this week.Progress is steady and can see improvments.
    Body weoght has come down from 13 stone 8pounds to 12stone 4 pounds in the ast 2months.
    Wil look at doing 2 gym sessions a week now to strengthen up weak areas.

    Did a lovely run today in the park,legs felt really good.
    Ran 11miles at just a hsade over 6.40 pace.
    Average heart Rate was 146 and max 168,pushed it up some steep hills near the end.
    Tommorow is going to be tough to fit in a run as im away on Buisness in the UK.lunch was chicken and veg.Dinner I had stir fry.
    really buzzing with training right now.

    Morning run 7am
    Ran a shade over 9miles at 6.5 pace
    Felt in between easy and steady.
    heart rate monitor not working!!!
    Going to aim for a 65mile week this week.

    Lovely long run today
    did:14miles + ran for approx 1hour 43mins.
    struggled during the day just feeling very tired.
    Long hours at work killing me,next week is 55hours +:mad:

    Not getting time of to do any races!!!

    I was bound to happen sooner or later.with the stress in work and long hours ect i finally hit a wall today.
    Stopped after 35mins and walked home.
    I had cycled 20miles to and from work earlier so that probably knocked the stuffing out of me.
    Diet wise i havn't being consuming the right foods,well not enough of them.:(

    Took a rest day saturday and did steady 10 today.
    poor week but bound to have them.

    well a nice start to the week,ran 45mins in he morning approx 6.5miles and ran 6miles in the evening followed by some light stretching.
    Weetabix for breakfast and a muller yougart.
    had soem sambo's for lunch and soup and chicken sambos for dinner,not enough water taken on board today though.
    Got the new asics Nimbus today and not a big fan after 1 run,bit chunky and too soft.Might just keep for my long runs.

    Ran 10mies in a shade under 70mins.couldn't eat breakfast as tummy still full from late meal last night.
    Legs feeling really good right now.
    Doing hil session tommorow evening,going to aim for 70+ miles this week.

    Did a hard run in the hills tonight,struggled a little towards end of the uphill.
    Total miles was 10

    Post session:3 pieces of fruit and bowl of pasta and tuna and sweetcorn.
