Theres a hugh difference between positive and negative feedback

"Relax on the clutch a bit" "Get your ****ing foot off the ****ing clutch"

    See the difference?

Yes. Wasn't it nice of the mod to opt for the former rather than "Get your ****ing ass out of my forum?".

The mod didn't use the word newbie, at all, I never said that !

And can I say, fair play to Lump for his edit, clearly wasn't meant in an aggresive way :)

Yeah but the key point is the word 'Newbie' ...... We were all there once

And mods should have a bit more relaxtitude to posts like that, IMO
Sorry maybe i took poster up wrong. Thought poster was referring to mod. I think what Stark said was right re the mods behaviour. Link was posted to aid poster and would see no reason to report it.

    So Feedback works. Yah!
And fair play to Lump for acting on it

However it might be something to bring to Feedforward, a discussion about how Boards Mods/Admins/Posters treat and interact with newbies, if it isn't soemthing that has already been highlighted for discussion

With all the agro going on here, the most respectable thing done was Lump editing his post. Well done.

Im sure mods make mistakes but they should accept these mistakes gracefully and not start bickering about them when someone points them out. Of course visa versa works here too.

A little less fighting and a little more love :D:D:D

And the other might make the new person give up driving.

But yeah, agree to disagree and all that. :)

Ok, I think this thread has served it's purpose.

And I will leave you with one final thought:

Q:How do you make a soul singer out of a duck?

A: Put him in the oven until his Bill Withers.
